Let the Good Times Roll: Event Grants Awarded by the City of Centennial!

2025 is already shaping up to be another fun year at KPP!
We are excited to announce that the City of Centennial has again awarded us funds as part of their Community Engagement Grant program. Read below to learn more about the city funded events for 2025, and also how KPP is able to keep the good times rolling!
HOW CAN WE HAVE SO MANY FUN EVENTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY?
The answer is easy: GENEROSITY. As a small nonprofit on a teeny tiny budget, grants and generous event sponsors make it possible for KPP to host fun community events and bring people together. Without them, we would simply not be able to afford these events!
In 2024, 100% of KPP event costs were covered by GRANTS and EVENT SPONSORS. Additionally some event items such as S'mores (for the Late Night Swim events) and Bunco prizes were kindly donated by the Board of Directors and community members.
Our goal for 2025 is to continue that same successful path! Please contact us if you know of a company who may be interested in sponsoring any of the EVENTS on the 2025 calendar including but not limited to: Kid Party, Labor Day BBQ, Late Night Swim S'mores, Kid Boat Races, Adult Party, Painting by the Pool. Thank you for partnering with us!
2025 GRANT FUNDED EVENTS
City funds were granted for 2 specific events, and will mainly help to cover the costs of food & drink provided at the events. These were both huge successes last year thanks to the grants AND our many volunteers, so we are excited to do it again. Please mark your calendars and invite your neighbors!
Sit poolside with friends & neighbors and enjoy breakfast together at the KPP Pancake Breakfast! Sip juice and coffee and dig into delicious pancakes & fruit.
KPP's annual BBQ and Potluck just got even better!
The city funds will allow us to provide hotdogs AND a delicious burger bar. Vegetarian & GF options will also be available. Bring a side dish or treat to share with your neighbors.
